Continued Success

Maya hasn’t slowed down. She’s still racking up awards and wins. Two years after their first WNBA championship, Maya and the Lynx earned their second. Again, they swept the Atlanta Dream in three games. Maya was named Finals MVP. She and the Lynx won WNBA championships in 2015 and 2017 as well.

In 2012 Maya joined Team USA. The team won Olympic gold in London. They won gold again at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. In between Olympic golds, Maya won the 2014 FIBA World Championship with Team USA. She was named the FIBA World Championship MVP.
